Examinations and Fees
The SBA believes that studying for, and passing, the various examinations which are available to all classes of Member, is a worthwhile activity which should be encouraged. The SBA examination and assessment syllabuses have been fully revised to bring their content and standard of examination up to date and into line with those of the BBKA.
The starting and entry requirement for all other examinations and assessments is either the Junior Beekeeper or Basic Beekeeping Assessment, this short practical assessment tests the basic skills and knowledge of the craft.
Following the Basic Beekeeping Assessment you can further your knowledge of bees and beekeeping by studying for the Module Examinations or progress through the examination system by undertaking Further Practical Assessments.
