Thanks to Enid Brown for compiling the above list for us. SBA Autumn Convention 2010The Convention takes place on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th September, 2010, at Blackburn, near Dyce, Aberdeen. Speakers: Celia Davis, NDB: The Challenges of Beekeeping; Keeping on Top of Varroa. Graham Royle, NDB: Practical Anatomy; If Heath Robinson was a Beekeeper. Scottish Beekeeper Downloads now availableIn response to requests the SBA is once again making available downloads of back numbers of the Scottish Beekeeper. Each issue will be available in the Downloads section of the web site for 4-5 weeks, about six months after the date of its original publication. Please use the Downloads link in the main menu at the top of the page to reach the downloads index, then scroll down to the link to the currently available issue of the Scottish Beekeeper. Happy reading! New Bee Diseases Legislation in Scotland'The Bee Diseases and Pests Control (Scotland) Order 2007' came into force on 1 December 2007. Please use the link on the right to access the web site and new legislation. SBA Meetings 2010 / 2011The SBA Executive meets on 22nd May, 25th September, and 13th November 2010; and 15 Jan, 12 March, 21 May, 24 Sept, and 12 Nov 2011. The Council meeting (Preceeded by the LA Secretaries' meeting) is on 13th November 2010, and 12 Nov 2011. The AGM is on 12th March 2011. The AGM and Council meetings both take place at Dewar's Centre, Perth. Lecture Tour 2010The Lecture Tour will take place between October 4th and 8th. Speaker: Dinah Sweet, Welsh Beekeepers Association Chairperson of CONBA-UK BIBBA. Further details will be announced as soon as they are available.
