BBKA Spring Convention 2012 

20 – 22 April ‘Stoneleigh’ (now Harper Adams College). There is an opportunity to share transport to and from this event as follows. SBA member John Coyle is plannig on hiring a 14/15 seater mini bus to go down to the Annual BBKA Spring Convention which is being held this year at Harper Adams University College, Telford. The convention runs from 12 noon on the 20^th April through 22^nd April, 2012. John says:

"I have spoken to the organizing committee and they will allow a 'Scottish delegation' to have joint BBKA membership.   This means we can attend any of the workshops at the convention at a reduced rate.Costs are down to the numbers of “bums on seats”. SBA Centenary Meeting

15 - 16 September at the University of Stirling Management Centre.  Please visit the SBA Centenary page for more information. Please also note that the centenary celebrations replace the usual Autumn Convention in 2012.

SBA Lecture Tour 2012

The speaker will be Richard Ball, former National Bees Inspector at the National Bee Unit in York. The tour will take place between October 3 and 10, and the venues will be announced by the Local Associations that are hosting the lecture on each date.
