The SBA Constitutional Change - Application to OSCR

The Stage 1 application to OSCR was delayed slightly due to my workload and other commitments, and the need for specific signatures on the application. However the application was sent at the beginning of June and as of 18 June OSCR has now confirmed receipt of the application. The proposed date of incorporation (that is in effect the date of change to an SCIO) is now 31 December 2014. This is slightly later than the originally intended date of October or November. The later date simplifies the procedure for our Treasurer, and also allows a little extra time for resolving any issues arising from the application. Further updates on progress of the application will be posted on the web site and in the Scottish Beekeeper.

Alasdair Joyce, ICT Convener, 19 June 2014

Meanwhile, now that the application to OSCR has been submitted, the new agreed constitution and supporting policies and procedures have been puiblished with links available from the Downloads Page.
